Boot Camp - 6-4-09

I was back at Boot Camp this morning. The Marines were ready to go at 0600 and so was I. We started in the gym with a fast stretch and warm up. After they got our heart rate up we went to the roof for an Indian Run.

Our group was really large today. I think that was because most of us that tend to go to the fastest group held back and went with the second group. I think there were only five people in the fastest group and about forty in my group.

We did one and a half miles at about 8:30 pace with sprints. I worked on my form and speed during my sprints. I really do like this workout. I get to sprint and get some mileage in for the morning.

After the run we headed to the tennis courts and got into sprint line. We did bear crawls, lunges, crab walks, steam engines, and sprints. Right when I thought I could do no more, we were done. Good timing!
